1) What is the present scenario of VLSI in India

This has resulted in a growing demand for trained manpower in VLSI design, Embedded Systems and Networking.

2) What is the difference between learning VLSI in Silicatec and in other institutes?
Regular courses that are offered by Universities or any other institutes are generally broad bases and do not address special skill that the industry needs. 13) What is the eligibility?
The student should be strictly a BE/BTech in Electronics and Telecommunication from a reputed university with a consistent first class record. There is no relaxation on this criterion.

14) Will you provide the study materials?
Yes. Our all training materials are developed and delivered by our own expert faculty, which are based on the materials used across different VLSI domain industries. No such material is available from any other source.

15) How much will be the fees? What will be the payment structure?
The fees for this VLSI 6 month's fulltime training program will be Rs. 50000. 16) What are the courses available? What will be the duration?
Three courses available:
a) PG diploma in VLSI design (6 months)
b) ASIC logical design and verification course.(2 months)
c) ASIC physical design and backend course. (2 months)

17) Will I get a placement/project if I join the short-term courses?
The students will not be entertained with any projects who enroll for short-term courses of 2 months. And placement will not be guaranteed to the students for the same. Job assistance will be provided. Placements will be guaranteed for the only students who complete our levels of certification by doing the full time or part time PG diploma course.

18) How the classes will be conducted for short time courses?
The short time courses will be conducted from morning 7.00 AM to 9 AM or evening 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM depending upon the adjustability of the students.

19) Can the PG course also be done on a part time basis?
Yes, The final year students of BE/MTECH or working professionals can take the PG courses on a part time basis. But the course duration will be of 1 year.

20) What will be the class timings for full time PG Diploma course?
The full time PG Diploma classes will be conducted 6 days a week, 5 hrs/day

21) What are the levels of certification for getting a job?
There will be three levels of certification provided to the candidates from Silicatec:
Level1: The first level of certification will be "Certificate for Participation".
Level2: The second level of certification will be "Certification of Competency"
Level3: The Third level of certification will be "Certificate of Excellence"

The candidates who will clear the tests, labs, cutoff criteria conducted by Silicatec will get the Level2 certification and the student who is not able to clear will get the Level1 certification.

The candidates who will have the extraordinary performance during the training & the project execution will get the Level3 certification.

22) Will there be any accommodation facility available for students?
Accommodation can be provided for all the outstation candidates. A/C or Non A/C rooms will be available. Conveyance facility also will be available.
